POSMAC?
It represents POSCO Magnesium Alloy Coating product, POSCO and is a galvanized alloy coated steel pipe. POSMAC is a product with corrosion resistance better than the usual galvanized zinc plating steel sheets by 5 times and, in particular, it can replace post-coating products as it has excellent corrosion resistance in the section which is a weak point for most of the steel materials. In addition, it has excellent properties of surface exterior, coating, galling, alkali resistance and ammonium resistance. Customers familiar with steel sheets can use the product without changing existing processing, assembling and coating procedures.Magnesium among coating layers facilitate the generation of Simonkolleite which is a very stable and dense corrosive material. This corrosive material forms a film over the coated surface to prevent corrosion of the steel sheets.
